Being single is both liberating and isolating at times. It’s the time you’re most aware that #1 person is you. You’re the one you have to count on––to get through the good and bad. No one else can bring you the validation you’re craving. It has to come within. This is true when we’re single or in a relationship, but when you’re single you’re given the gift of awareness. It’s a blessing and a curse, to have the time to feel and heal. It can feel overpowering, and it’s difficult to see other people in love when it’s something you’re craving.

If you’re in the phase of craving love, aim to manifest energy into finding your person. Like attracts like. Carry on with hope that you’ll find the one, because you are deserving of the best love that exists. And by truly believing that, you’ll attract the person for you.

I hope you find someone special to fall in love with, and most importantly, I hope you fall in love with yourself and your life.

“Fall in love with someone
who feels like the warmth of the sun
on a cold January morning,
but soothes your heart
like the cool waters of the sea
on the hottest day of June.” ––Nikita Gill

“Some souls just instantly click. Whether you’re lovers, best friends, soul mates or something else. You accept this person for everything they are, and they would never let you be anything less than your beautiful and sometimes flawed self.”

–I think that’s how you know when you’ve met ‘your person’

“Your 20s are your ‘selfish’ years. It’s a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish with your time, and all the aspects of you. Tinker with sh*t, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little, and never touch the ground.” ––Kyoko Escamilla

“One day someone will walk into your life and make you see why it never worked out with anyone else.”

“Maybe right now you’re not supposed to be in a relationship with anyone else but yourself. Maybe this is your time for you and you’re supposed to be enjoying it for exactly what it is––your time, for you.”

“If you’re single, do not worry about finding someone. Instead, enjoy yourself. Eat good food. Travel to neat places. Laugh with people you have nothing in common with. Do whatever makes you happiest. You are not in need of an “other half.” You are already whole. If you meet someone, then you will still be whole. Tell yourself you are wonderful. Don’t hang out with anyone who makes you feel like you’re not. You don’t need anyone to be happy. Focus on yourself, and everything else will eventually fall into place.” – (Imjust-a-girl.tumbler)

“There is nothing stronger than a broken woman who has rebuilt herself.” ––Hannah Gadsby

“Too many women throw themselves into romance because they’re afraid of being single, then start making compromises and losing their identity. I won’t do that.” ––Julie Delpy

“Look back one last time. But then never look back again. Leave it all behind you. What’s coming is far more exciting.” ––The Better Man Project

“When I get lonely these days, I think: So BE lonely, Liz. Learn your way around loneliness. Make a map of it. Sit with it, for once in your life. Welcome to the human experience. But never again use another person’s body or emotions as a scratching post for your own unfulfilled yearnings.” ––Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat Pray Love

“Being single is only sad if you have a problem with your own company. I’m content with mine.” ––Olga Kurylenko
